Job Summary:
PACETAS Local Ad Network provides cost effective advertising utilizing indoor digital billboards in reaching customers our advertisers want to target. On our digital signage network are large plasma screens that are located in host sites (businesses) throughout New York City and the Tri-State Areas.
The Account Associate is responsible for generating sales leads and securing new business accounts/customers through daily prospecting, cold calling and networking. The Account Associate is also responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service skills to maintain customer relationships.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Make 30-40 cold calls (phone and foot) daily to generate local sales opportunities.
· Identifies sales opportunities with customers' through prospecting, cold-calls, networking, etc.
· Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company's established target market
· Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels
· Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
· Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers
· Works closely with Support, Community Management, Account Management and Business Development
· Responds to requests from customers for information and gives online presentations
· Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations
· Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the company
· Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· High School Diploma Required or College Degree Preferred
· Previous sales experience is a plus
